I made this super moist and almondy bundt cake for a PTO event last year. People couldn’t stop eating it! I added it to my menu and had a customer order it recently because she is allergic to chocolate but still wanted cake. She loved it!

Rose Cake
I absolutely love making this cake! It is so beautiful, elegant and stunning. For an grand opening in a boutique, I provided the cupcakes. I also wanted to make a special cake to help the owners celebrate. The name of the store is Pink Sugar so there was my inspiration!
I went with a simple white cake recipe and colored half e batter pink and left the other half white. I put it in 9 in round pans so the cake would bake up in a zebra pattern! (The fun thing is this cake could be customized in any combination of colors!)
Then I filled it with my famous strawberry rhubarb filling and did a crumb coat with a light pink frosting.
Then I put on all the roses. To add the finishing touch, I added edible pearls to the center of most of the roses.
Gorgeous! Thanks to Holly Nylund Photography for the photos!!
Retirement Cake
I had an order for a retirement cake/congratulations cake for some good students. We decided on a two layer cake. One white layer, one chocolate with a strawberry filling and fresh strawberries too! Yum!!
I frosted it with a vanilla buttercream and added some sugar cookies decorated with royal icing. One as a police badge and then the 4.0 to celebrate these college students’ good grades.
I heard the clients totally enjoyed their cake!
