I’ve been wanting to try a cupcake with lavender for awhile and I found an amazing recipe! My friend let me have some edible lavender flowers and I went to town.
I started with a vanilla cupcake and frosted them with a honey mascarpone frosting. The frosting was to die for! Then I made a lavender brittle!
They turned out so pretty, very yummy and not too floral. I was afraid the lavender would be overpowering, but since it was only in the brittle and sprinkled on top, it was just right!
