I know we are all itching for fall! Sweatshirts, hot cocoa, bonfires and pumpkin pie! This was a little twist on a typical pie. It was sweetened with maple syrup and instead of a whole pie, I made 6 4 inch tarts. I got the Wilton tart pans with removable bottoms and they are so fun to bake with! Everything I have made in them slip right out beautifully! L
I also made a pecan streusel but did not bake it with the pie. It was simply sprinkled on after the pies cooled. Very yummy, warm and comforting.
